Honda Amaze Facelift - Major Differences in Specs You Need to Know
Released By : Ace Honda Noida
The Honda Amaze facelift comes with a superior new exterior design. The new facelifted sedan comes with a more modern look and a sporty appearance because of the latest updates to its front grille, bumper and headlights. The majority of its modifications can be seen on the vehicle's front fascia. For instance, the new grille on the Honda Amaze is slimmer than the previous model as it now includes two thinner chrome slats instead of just one thick piece of chrome. Additionally, the LED projector headlamps have been replaced by halogen ones for better efficiency. Even the DRL's design has been tweaked slightly to make it more aesthetically pleasing. These new changes provide a more harmonious look to the new Honda Amaze.
The rear of the car is also updated with some new horizontal lines on its bumper that matches the horizontal slats above. When compared to the honeycomb-like mesh that was present in the model that came before, it is considered good. The LED fog lights embedded in the bumper have been vastly improved in terms of style and design. Furthermore, the New Amaze also has a better and sharper profile than its previous model. This model has 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and chrome door handles. Even though the tyre size remains the same. Also, the chrome door handles are now available in the vehicle’s body colour.
Albeit the impressive new design changes, the overall dimensions and design elements of the New Amaze facelift still remain identical to that of its previous model. It still has a wheelbase of 2,470 mm and measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,501 mm in height. The engine specifications also remains the same. The New Amaze is still available with two different engine options including the 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine and the 1.2 litre i-Vtec petrol engine. Your choice of transmissions also remains the same between Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and Manual Transmission (MT). The fuel efficiency of these engines ranges from 18.6 km/l to 24.7 km/l.
The new Honda Amaze also comes with some incredible chrome and silver elements with its updated interior design. While the dashboard design and advanced features remain the same, some previously glossy black surfaces now have chrome and silver accents like the dashboard area on the passenger side, the door panels and the steering wheel.
Additional updates include a gear lever that is surrounded by a glossy black panel with a chrome accent, if you choose the CVT variant. A new dust cover for the gear lever is available if you select the manual option. The front map lights are a wonderful new addition to the New Amaze’s updated cabin as well. In the previous model, Honda Amaze had only central lights for the entire cabin whereas now there are two lights in the front for better visibility.
